What Does the Hero of the Village Effect Do in Minecraft

Hero of the Village is a Minecraft status effect that was added in the Village and Pillage update. It is given to players who defend a village against a Pillager raid. You get a few extra benefits depending on the village you defended.

What does the Hero of the Village Effect do in Minecraft?

The Hero of the Village effect has one primary outcome. Villagers who defend the town you defend will significantly lower the cost of trading for goods. Depending on the version of Minecraft you are playing, this effect will last either 40 or 60 minutes. You can adjust the intensity of the effect by changing the version.

Java players have the Hero of the Village more than Bedrock players. Although the effect is only temporary on this platform and lasts for 40 minutes, you won’t lose it if you leave the Village’s area. The effect can be adjusted to increase your discount for trading.

Hero of the Village I will give you a minimum effect level of 30 percent while trading. Every additional Tier above Tier I will give you a 6.25 percent discount. Since the maximum effect level you can receive is Hero of the Village V, this means the greatest discount you can receive is 55 percent.

In the Bedrock version of Minecraft, the effect has a maximum tier of Hero of the Village I, which means it can only give you a 30 percent discount while trading. It lasts for 60 minutes in Bedrock. However, if you leave the Village’s circle, you have 13 seconds to return before it is lost.
