MiniToon is the creator of Roblox Piggy, a survival horror video game. PhatMojo has partnered to create a new Piggy experience. Piggy: Hunt will be available on the Steam Store and later on mobile devices this Fall. This is the first Piggy videogame to launch outside Roblox.
Piggy: Hunt, a top-down multiplayer board game that pits Survivors and Infected against each other. In order to escape from Infected, the survivors must work together and complete tasks quickly. The Infected use traps and their sheer wits as a way to eliminate each Survivor one at a time.
There will be several maps, similar to the Roblox Piggy Games, with different mechanics and tasks. Players can create their own avatars and weapons as well as items. The fast-paced game can be enjoyed by up to six players in groups. Custom matches are available for larger groups.
Piggy: Hunt will be available in early access on Steam this September. Piggy: Hunt is set to launch on mobile devices following the PC launch. MiniToon has confirmed that the mobile versions of the Steam/PC version will not be free to play, despite the fact that it is expected that they will charge money.
MiniToon also announced the availability of DLC codes to unlock rewards in Piggy: Hunt. Similar to Roblox games these codes will reward players with cosmetic skins and weapons for their key characters, items, and weapons.
MiniToon was the original creator of Piggy, which launched Jan. 2020. The Piggy franchise has since been expanded to include two chapters of multiple levels and an open world survival spinoff, Piggy: Intercity. With more than 9 billion visits and 50,000 concurrent users, MiniToon swept the Bloxy Awards 2021,The Game of the Year, Creator of the Year and the prestigious Builderman Awards of Excellence were taken home.
MiniToon had announced Piggy: Hunt. It appears that he will be focusing his efforts on the game’s story, while also working on the core Roblox Piggy games. Toy brand PhatMojo will oversee Piggy: Hunt’s development. Shaggy Doge is the developer.
