How to Purchase an Item from a Character | Fortnite | Week 15 Epic Quests

Our last week of Epic Quests Season 5 has presented us with some of our most challenging challenges. They all require us to interact in some way with NPCs. We will be covering all NPCs where you can purchase an item.

We only need one item to complete this challenge. But we know the locations of all NPCs who will sell it. You can complete the quest no matter where your location is. Simply go to the nearest NPC to finish it. We would like to thank you Fortnite GG for the map drawing functionality!

Note: You can go to any character that sells any item, including things like Cabbages or Bandages. But weapons are usually the most valuable thing on the map and worth the gold bars you need to spend.

The image below shows all NPC locations where you can buy items. They wander often so it is difficult to pinpoint exactly where they will be. Many of them have multiple spawn points, so it might be easier to choose an NPC with one spawn point if you want to do this in a single match.

These are the NPCs that can sell you items. Once you have found one, you need to interact with them to open the radial and select the option to Purchase the weapon. You’re done!

  • Item Name: Dragon’s Breath Snoper| Item: Dragon’s Breath Sniper
  • Pristine Point is northwest of Steamy Stacks.
  • It is south of Sweaty Sands.
  • Splode | Item: Boom Sniper Rifle

  • Unremarkable Shack, north edge of the map
  • Fishstick| Item: Quad Launcher
  • Coral Castle is located in the middle, just southeast of its largest building.
  • The restaurant is located on the northern side Craggy Cliffs.
  • Remedy | Item: Chug Cannon
  • Hilltop House, southeast corner of Stealthy Stronghold
  • Southeast corner Craggy Cliffs
  • Dummy| Item: The Dub
  • South of Durr Burger Food Truck, north of Pleasant Park
  • Compact Cars West of Dirty Docks
  • Reese| Item: Shadow Tracker
  • Near the water, is the eastern warehouse of Dirty Docks.
  • Deadfire | Item: Hop Rock Dualies
  • In the middle of this map is the Sheriff’s Office.
  • Item Night Hawk| Item: Night Hawk
  • Fort Crumpet, Northeast corner of the Map, south of Coral Castle
  • Item Storm Scout| Item: Storm Scout
  • Northeast corner Shipwreck Cove
