Snapshots appear to be a new way Minecraft is releasing the major Caves and Cliffs update. You won’t be able to access the Bedrock version if you are playing on that version. If you own the Minecraft Java edition, however, you can test these out yourself. Even though not all of the updates have been released, you can still build or create new stuff by using the snapshots.
How to make a Spyglass
You will need 2 Copper Ingots and 1 Amethyst Shard to make a Spyglass. Amethyst Geode sites can provide underground access to Amethyst shards. These semi-rare spawns contain Amethyst Blocks and Budding Amethyst Blocks which will grow Amethyst Clusters. These clusters can be broken to obtain the Amethyst Shards that you require. Copper is another new resource that can be found almost anywhere underground you can find Iron Ore.
You now have a Spyglass. What do you do? The Spyglass serves one function, and that is to magnify the area you want to target. Just click on the Use Item/Place Block icon you have been assigned. This button is usually located right-clicking on your PC. Spyglasses can be used to zoom in and place a circular area on your screen. It closes your peripheral vision, focusing on the exact location you are looking. To remove the vignette from your PC, press F1 on your keyboard. After you are done, press F1 on PC to remove the HUD.
This tool is great for those who enjoy exploring the world and struggle to know where to go next.
