How to Make a Soul Campfire in Minecraft

Although you will need to travel deep into the Nether to obtain the necessary ingredients, it will be well worth your effort.

How to Make a Soul Campfire

Soul Campfires are easy to make, but it will take some work to acquire the Soul Sand or Soil needed to create them.

Step 1: Go to The Nether

It is necessary to make a Nether PortalTo reach the Nether. This usually requires that you harvest obsidian and then make a 4×5 rectangle. Light it with Flint and Steel. The purple portal will lead you to the Nether.

Step 2: Search for a Soul Sand Valley biome

The Soul Sand Valley Biome (a new biome) can be found in the Nether. Soul Sand is a resource that has existed for some time. However, Soul Soil now exists in the same area. Soul Sand can be creepy and slows down your pace when you walk through. Soul Soil is similar in color but it’s wavy so it doesn’t slow down. Blue flames from the soil will indicate that you are in the right spot. You will need to harvest some Soul Sand or Soul Soil for each Soul Campfire that you create.

Step 3: Create the Soul Campfire

Now, gather the remaining supplies. Take three pieces of wooden and three sticks. Your Soul Sand or Soil should be placed in the middle. Crafting TablePlace three sticks and three pieces wood at the bottom. This image is a guide:
