How to Don the Disguise and Strike Three Resonant Crystals in Fortnite | Tarana and Raz Spire Challenges Guide

On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, Fortnite released update v16.10, and along with it came a massive quest path for us to complete. While there are many types of challenges on the path, most of them can be completed by simply finding characters. This guide will cover the fifth section of the line of challenges, in which we must wear the disguise and strike three resonance crystals.

How to Disguise Fortnite and Strike Three Resonant crystals

Before we begin, if you were looking for the guide to a different part of this questline, you can find the complete list at the bottom of this article in the order in which they appear.

An additional important note: At the moment, this quest is glitched for a lot of players. As many players have reported that you might not be able complete the quest if the disguise is removed and you are not able to strike the crystals after you have donned it.

The Spire completes all of the steps in this guide. Although there are three crystals you can strike, the quest only requires three. The image below shows the location of the disguise as well as the three crystals that we believe are the easiest to locate.

To complete the quest, you can also visit the following locations once you have reached The Spire.

  • The Southeast section is where you will find the Disguise. It is located next to a fence. It is located directly north of the building at the southwest corner.
  • The first crystal is on one of the higher levels. After you have collected the disguise, you will be able to proceed to the North and follow the steps to the higher level houses. There will be two sets of steps, one going East and one going West. This crystal can be found outside, at the base of The Spire.
  • The second crystal can be found if you proceed along the edge of The Spire’s base after you hit the first crystal. It is located on the west edge of The Spire’s base.
  • The path to the third crystal follows the same route as the others. After you have reached the second crystal, continue along the base to the spire until you reach the large archway that leads into a building. This building contains the last crystal, which can be found on the northern walls.

    You can relax once you’ve reached the third crystal! You have completed all the quests in this challenge line!
