This mode is limited and allows you to compete for 50,000 VBucks. Our guide will walk you through this competitive mode. She will explain the rules and offer tips on how to compete in this time-limited event.

You should really try to win this event if you’re a streamer who wants to get more views. It’s a great opportunity to gain exposure and establish yourself as a streamer.

Hey everyone,

We’re pumped to bring our players another competitive experience with the return of the Solo Showdown Limited Time Mode.

Do you want to be the best on the battlefield You can now queue up to play Solo Showdown, a fiercely contested Battle Royale mode. Solo Showdown, unlike other LTMs will not affect the core gameplay in the Solo mode. You will instead be placed against self-selected opponents, making this the ultimate test to survival.

This blog will be updated frequently by Fortnite’s team with Solo Showdown standings. At the end of this competition, the top performers will be rewarded.*


1st Place:  50,000 V-Bucks

2nd – 4th  Place:  25,000 V-Bucks

5th – 50th Place:  13,500 V-Bucks

51st – 100th Place:  7,500 V-Bucks

Your first 25 matches in the Solo Showdown LTM will be counted towards your Score. These are the complete rules. here.

The Solo Showdown’s top performers may be invited to future Summer Skirmish events.

Fortnite Solo Showdown Rules

You can now go to this page and find all the information. rulesIt is, however, I will break down the most important information so that you don’t have too much jargon. (You should read it all if this is something you care about).

  • Participants from all countries are eligible to participate in the Contest, however it is null if they are prohibited or restricted by law.
  • The Contest is open and the Solo Showdown LTM will remain available from July 27th, 2018, 10:00 AM EST to July 30, 2018, 10:00 AM EST.
  • You must have a have a Fortnite account registered on or before July 18, 2018!
    • If you make mistakes or feel you could do better, you cannot create a new account. Make sure that you’re serious whenever you start a game.
  • To be eligible for a prize, you must have played at least 25 Solo Showdown LTM matches.
  • Only the first 25 matches in Solo Showdown LTM will count towards a Contestant’s Score.
  • The games are nothing special, they’re just Fortnite.
  • The 100 best players will be rewarded.
  • The selected Contestants will receive notification on Friday, August 3, 2018, at or around 5 PM. They may need to respond to the notification (as directed), within seventy-two (72) hour of attempted notification.

Epic may disqualify you for being a toxic player, a bad sport, or attempting to cheat the system.

Epic reserves the rights to disqualify Contestants at its sole discretion, for any reason. This includes but not limited to if Epic believes that Contestant is cheating or hacking, harassing or using abusive or offensive language. Epic may also decide that Contestant is teaming up with others, spamming or engaging in social engineering.


Point Scoring

Your score will reflect how well you played in each game. You will receive 100 points if you win the match and take first place. Each enemy eliminated earns 6 points. You can see the current showdown standings right here. Here’s an example of how to break out of the scoring.

In this short time mode, I will list some of the things I consider to be essential. Our website is a great place to start if you’re a beginner and want to give it a try. Fortnite tips and tricks guideAs a way of improving your game.

  • Do not try to play too many games at once. There is enough time to complete all 25 games.
  • It’s a good idea to start early. However, a lot of players may not know what they are doing and might just try it out for the first time. This could make it easier to get wins.
  • EVERY GAME IS IMPORTANT. Every game is vital. Do not queue up unless your focus is 100%. Each placement is worth points.
  • Keep track your placements. You will be able to estimate how many points are available. You might wait to play your last five to ten matches to see who is the leader in points. This will allow you to gauge your own performance to beat their score.
