Overall there are a few nice enchantments that will perform well when placed on a crossbow in Minecraft. However, you should always consider placing the multishot enchantment first before others on your crossbow. It makes your crossbow fire multiple arrows when you use it.
Because of that, there is no reason why you should not have it; it’s just so useful for taking out multiple enemies.
Multishot also consumes only one arrow, so you get three arrows at the low cost of one. Multishot can be combined with the piercing spell to create a deadly effect.
You can summarize the piercing spell by making your crossbow arch arrows penetrate multiple enemies. Add multishot to make you the Minecraft terminator.

Now for the last enchantment, you should get is quick charge. Quick charge is an exclusive crossbow enchantment which lowers crossbow reload times.
Because of this, we highly recommend getting it so you can load and fire the crossbow faster and turn the crossbow into a deadly fast reloading weapon.
The following enchantments can be used in addition to these three, but they’re not necessary or the best.
Mending is an enchantment that allows you to gain experience and repair your item. It is a great addition to any tool or item, and even more useful when it is combined with unbreaking.
Unbreaking is a wondrous enchantment for any item, as it increases durability and will help you keep using whatever item it’s on. It’s worth it to add it to any weapon you intend on using often.
