B.R.U.T.E.s was a piloted mech that was introduced to Fortnite in Chapter 1, but has been absent from all of Chapter 2 and Season 8. You can now fund them via J.B. Chimpanski’s War Effort boxes, in an effort to get Fortnite back to using them!

How to fund

Many people want to know how to finance the B.R.U.T.E. It will ensure that it is the next addition to the game. You can do this by visiting one of J.B. Chimpanski’s War Effort box locations on the map, and donating 50 Gold Bars for the mech. Below is a list of all locations that you can find War Effort donation box.

  • Lockie’s Lighthouse
  • Stealthy Stronghold, West Edge
  • Northwest corner of Pleasant Park
  • Southwest corner of Believer Beach
  • Boney Burbs, North Side
  • Northwest corner of Holly Hedges
  • Sludgy Swamp West End
  • Southeast corner of Craggy Cliffs
  • Corny Crops at the South End
  • Southeast corner of Lazy Lake
  • Misty Meadows West Side
  • Catty Corner
  • Retail Row West Side
  • Southwest side of Dirty Docks
  • Northwest corner of Steamy Stacks

After you’ve approached one of the War Effort box, make sure to donate the Salvaged B.R.U.T.E. They will be added to the game when it reaches 100 per cent funding!

Gameplay and General Information

The Salvaged B.R.U.T.E. This version of Chapter 1 is not available to players. Here’s how:

  • Two persons can be entered. Two people can operate the mech’s movement, while the other one operates the artillery.
  • Overshields are no more available. This means that they offer very little protection against skilled players.
  • These are great for fighting against Cube Monsters in Sideways as they provide protection from their melee attacks.
